Galaxy S20 Ultra review: premium smartphone with best camera and display

Galaxy S20 Ultra Review- 100X space zoom, 108 megapixel primary camera and large display.  Price is about one lakh rupees.  Read our review.

South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has been launching expensive smartphones from Apple in India for some time.  Now people are getting more options in premium segment.  The Galaxy S20 Ultra is also an example of this.  In the review, we tell you about this phone in detail.

Galaxy S20 Ultra specifinations

The Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 6.9-inch Quad HD dynamic display.  It also has a 120Hz refresh rate.  Samsung's inhouse Exynos 990 processor has been given in this smartphone.  It has two M5 clock and two Cortex-A76.  Apart from this, four Cortex-A55 have been given.

This smartphone has a battery of 5,000mAh.  The phone definitely has support for 45W fast charging, but with this you get a 25W charger in the box.  Talking about storage, it has 128GB internal memory with 12GB of RAM, which you can do up to 512GB via micro SD card.

Design and Build Quality

The Galaxy S20 Ultra has the same design as the Galaxy S20, but its camera module is quite different.  The design may be similar to the Galaxy S20, but its size is quite large.  The camera module is in the top left side and it sets it apart from this other smartphone.

The body is of glass metal and the rear panel is curved which is easy to hold.  Despite the size of the phone, grip is good to hold the phone.  The rear panel fingerprint magnet will be good if you use it in the cover. The front of the display has chin and thin bezels.  This phone is good in terms of overall design and build quality.  There has been some radical change in the design.
The specialty of Samsung's smartphones is its display these days.  This smartphone has a QHD Dynacmi AMOLED 2X display.  In this segment, this phone has come with the biggest display.  By enabling 120Hz refresh rate, you get even more smooth experience.

The display is impressive and you will like it if you use the phone for multimedia content or gaming.  Whether you want to watch a series or a film on OTT, it is not like your TV, but in terms of a phone, it will feel like you are doing a series experience.

After watching gaming and series in the phone for a week, I can say that in this segment in terms of display, there is no better smartphone in the market.

Performance

The performance of the Galaxy S20 Ultra is excellent.  Daily use apps are very smooth and every day we have used it, the phone has not faced any issue of lag or hang.

Although many people wanted to take this phone, but they did not buy it just because there is no Snapdragon and Exynos has been given.  The company should think this, so that customers are not offended.

Talking about multi tasking, you get the full benefit of having a big screen here.  You can use the corner of the screen in your own way.  More than one application can be smooth and fast used simultaneously.

Heavy apps also do not take time to load.  We have compared it to a smartphone with Snapdragon 865 processor and compared to it, this phone is different in many respects.  This difference in gaming is clearly evident when the application is downloaded, or by increasing the frame rate.
This phone is excellent in terms of overall performance and there is no problem in it.

Camera

In the launch of Galaxy S20 Ultra, the company talked a lot about its camera.  Its camera was also highlighted in the teaser.  But do you know if its camera meets the company's claim in real life.

This smartphone has a 108-megapixel primary lens.  It has a 12 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 48 megapixel telephoto camera.  Apart from this, it also has a depth vision.  For the selfie, it has a 40-megapixel front camera.

According to Samsung, 10X hybrid optic zoom has been given in it.  The company says that 10x hybrid optic zoom is achieved by combining the information of both of these 108 megapixel lenses and 48 megapixel telephoto lenses.

100X Space Zoom has been given in this phone.  But in normal days you will use more 10X hybrid zoom, in which the quality is also good.  To click photos in 100X zoom, you should have basic knowledge of photography. Not only 100X, but you can also take photos in 30X.  By 10X you will get almost losel, but after that you will be able to notice the loss.  For normal photography it would be good to use a normal camera, use zoom only when the object is away.  Many times people also use zoom for nearby objects.

However, whether to take pictures of the moon or to take a photo of a bird on a tall tree, this phone is fantastic in all of them.  While clicking, you have to keep your hand very stable and also have a little patience.  It is absolutely good to be given such a camera in a smartphone, but one cannot spend around 1 lakh rupees just for this camera.

Indoor or outdoor everywhere, this phone can do fantastic photography.  The camera interface has all the standard features.  There is also a single take feature, which can take multiple shots in one click.  It also includes timelaps and slow motion videos.

Talking about night photography, it could have been given better.  Objects are clear, Grains will also be able to notice less.  Although at times in very low lights where the night mode of pixels is able to be object, this is not possible with this phone.

Overall the camera of Galaxy S20 Ultra is excellent and due to some unique features, it can be said to be quite different and better than others.

The battery

This smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery and you can remove different types of backup from it.  You can select four modes of battery by going into settings.  By performing on high performance mode, the battery backup will be less, there is also the option of optimized.  Apart from this, there are two power saving modes - medium power saving and maximum power saving.  You can use these modes to save battery.

Adaptive power saving mode will prove to be your big task.  After enabling it, the phone automatically selects the mode on your usage pattern.  So that you do not have to change the settings repeatedly. By using 120 Hz you will notice a decrease in backup.  In normal use, it can be run all day.  But in heavy use, you will need to charge the battery by evening.  This phone will be charged very fast i.e. 45W quick charge.  In the box you will get a charger of 25W, but the support is of 45W.  Charged it with 45W and it is really quick.

The price of this smartphone is Rs 97,999.  There are many such things in this phone which justify this price and we have also told you above about them.  Not premium, it can be called super premium segment phone.

Overall phone is good.  While buying the phone, keep in mind that this phone is very big and will not be able to use single hand easily.  You can not use space zoom every day.  So keeping all the other things in mind besides these, you will be in a position to decide for yourself whether this phone is for you or not.
